In late February and early March, COPENMIND will be promoting itself at three important conferences and exhibitions in the United States; the CARBON Forum America, the AUTM Annual Meeting and the WIREC Conference. COPENMIND’s founder, Steffen Moldow, will take the opportunity to attend these conferences and present the concept of COPENMIND to a vast audience of industry leaders as well as to representatives from the academic field.
The Carbon Forum America (CFA), organized by the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and Kölnmesse in San Francisco in late February, is offering an extensive conference program on issues concerning policy, markets and technology. COPENMIND will host a booth on the show floor of the Moscone Center in order to network with representatives from industry groups concerned with carbon emissions and with representatives from the academic field.
AUTM, the Association of University Technology Managers, is holding its Annual Meeting in San Diego in late February. This year’s conference with the theme “Changing Horizons” will attract more than 2,000 leaders in technology transfer and thus represents a great occasion for COPENMIND to meet with a large number of relevant organizations.
The US Government will be hosting the Washington International Renewable Energy Conference (WIREC) at the Washington DC Convention Center at the beginning of March. The conference will also include a trade show hosted by the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) and leading US renewable energy trade associations. The trade show is anticipated to be the largest business-to-business and business-to-government conference and expo ever held on renewable energy in the US. Since the trade show is also global in scope, it is important for COPENMIND not only to reach out to American industry leaders but also to promote itself internationally to the exhibitors, speakers and delegates from more than 70 countries around the world attending the event.
By attending these important conferences COPENMIND hopes to be able to successfully present the concept to a large number of relevant leaders from industry and academic field and to attract exhibitors and participants to COPENMIND 2008.
