COPENMIND is calling for exhibiting universities and research institutes to promote their knowledge and technologies at COPENMIND Conference through a ‘scientific session’.
The more than 100 universities and research institutes worldwide which have already signed up for COPENMIND ’08 will, in addition to many other benefits, also be given the opportunity to host a scientific session at COPENMIND Conference free of charge.
During such a scientific session, the exhibiting university or research institute can approach a broad audience from the corporate world in relation to specific technologies ready for commercialisation, and in this way create the basis for fruitful tech transfer and research partnerships.
Within a time-frame of 25 minutes, exhibiting universities and research institutes will be able to present a specific technology within one of the following COPENMIND themes:
- Climate change and air pollution
- Energy
- Water
- Waste and recycling
- Agriculture and land
All exhibiting universities and research institutes will receive the call for abstracts directly, and will be able to upload abstracts online until 31 May 2008. Of these abstracts, approximately 30 will then be selected for presenting at COPENMIND.
