In the last six month COPENMIND has continued to partner with large European and American organisations. Many of these represent significant interest groups from industry research, research laboratories and venture capital.
On May 29, 2008 COPENMIND signed a promotional agreement memorandum with Industrial Research Institute (IRI) at its headquarters in Washington, DC.
IRI is the leading association of companies and federal laboratories in the US working to improve research and development capabilities of its members.
With over 200 current members composed of companies and labs, IRI’s members account for $100 billion in R&D investment annually and more than 10 million jobs.
IRI provides important networking venues and R&D management for its members.
With the mission of IRI to enhance the effectiveness of technological innovation in industry, COPENMIND and IRI have a shared strategic interest in supporting and cultivating international advances in the collaboration between industry and higher education facilities. The two organisations intend to continue to develop this important partnership over time as the collaboration serves to reinforce the mutually shared and individual missions.
