The Danish Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Helge Sander, will take part in COPENMIND as a speaker opening the panel discussion:
Monday, Sep. 1, 12.00-13.00: Partnering as a Strategic Priority – Contrasting the European and the US Approaches to Partnering
Including panelists from MIT, Stanford, and the soon to be founded European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), the panel has a strong scientific foundation from some of the universities in the world, who have been most successful in commercializing their IP and working with the industry.
As a strong advocate for investment in research and knowledge as a means for achieving economic growth, Helge Sander will introduce the panel arguing one of his key issues: the necessity of coupling science and business in order to produce economic value as well as sustainable solutions to global challenges.
